Guatemala Finca Los Angeles

Perched on the sides of a sheer ridgeline, Mexico is nearly visible from Arturo and Vielmann Villatoro’s northern Guatemala farm, Finca Los Angeles. Growing Bourbon, Caturra, and Maragogype coffee varieties under native shade trees, and using pure mountain spring water to process their coffee, the result is a spectacular example of a high grown Guatemalan coffee. Arturo’s son, Vielmann, manages the farm. For 11 years Vielmann lived and worked in Los Angeles. After saving enough money he left the US, returned to Guatemala, married his wife, and bought more land to grow coffee alongside his father Arturo.
